Marrakech-Menara is a single terminal on the southwest side of the city. The code on the ticket is RAK. A Marrakech airport transfer is the car from that terminal to the door where you are sleeping, or to a first stop you have already named. Ours is a private black car. The driver waits on your flight, meets you in the public arrivals hall, and takes your party only. It is not a shared van, and it is not the person who reaches for the suitcase before you have left customs.
Two prices are published, and they belong to one house. If you are staying at Riad Bab Atlas for three nights or more, the black-car airport transfer is free for 1 to 5 guests. For 6 to 8 guests it is +€50. Eight is the maximum. The stay itself is €300 a night with that three-night minimum, and breakfast is on the first morning only. What happens between the aircraft and the car
Menara is small compared with a U.S. hub. The queue, when there is one, is passport control. Have the passport you travelled on, collect the bags, and keep medicine and a charger in the bag you carry.
After customs you are in the public arrivals hall. That hall is the meeting point. The name on the board matches the name on the booking. People inside the hall will offer a taxi. A booked driver has your name and the flight. A taxi is the official rank outside, not the first offer. If you want dirhams or a local SIM, do that in the terminal before you commit to a car. Then leave with the black car, or join the rank if you have chosen the taxi.
Send the flight number when you request the transfer. Pickup follows the landing, not a clock time we guessed a week earlier. If the inbound flight is late, the car is late with it. You do not have to renegotiate at the kerb after a long connection. The same plan covers a night landing. Marrakech flights from Europe and from Casablanca often arrive after dark. The hall is still the meeting point.
Riad Bab Atlas guests: free for 1–5, +€50 for 6–8
The free transfer is part of a stay, not a coupon you can detach. Three nights is the minimum at €300 a night. One to five guests on that stay have the black car from Menara included, and the drop-off at the end of the stay is included on the same terms. Six, seven, or eight guests pay +€50 for the airport transfer. We do not split a group of eight into two stories. The house sleeps up to eight, in four bedrooms, with two pools that guests at the riad share.
The Palmeraie is north and northeast of the medina. Menara is southwest. The drive between them is longer than the hop from the airport to Jemaa el-Fna, and the exact gate in the palm grove changes the last minutes. That is why the car is arranged with the house. We do not publish a street address on the public pages. The driver who meets the flight already has the gate. This page does not add another checkout.
Breakfast at the riad is on the first morning only. A late landing does not create a second breakfast the next day, and an early landing does not turn the first morning into a daily board. If you want a cook on another evening, ask when you book the stay. The transfer rule stays the one above: free for 1–5 guests on three nights or more, +€50 for 6–8.
Every other transfer is ask for price
A medina hotel, a different riad, a friend's house, a departure to Menara, or a pickup that is not tied to three nights at Riad Bab Atlas is ask for price. Tell us the flight, the address, the time if it is a departure, and how many guests and bags. We quote that job before you commit. There is no public rate card for a one-way city transfer, and we will not invent one beside the riad rule.
A full day with a chauffeur is a different job again. Ourika, Essaouira, a medina day you design, or a night car after dinner are quoted as driving days, not as airport pickups. Those days live on the Marrakech day tours page and the private driver page. The balloon is the other published figure on the site, from $160 per person, and it is a sunrise activity, not a transfer. If a quote mixes an airport pickup with a later day, each piece is named.

Medina, Palmeraie, or Agafay as the first stop
Say the door out loud when you book. A driver who has been told “the square” will go to Jemaa el-Fna. A driver who has been told Riad Bab Atlas will take the Palmeraie road. They are not the same exit from the airport. The medina drop is the shorter one. Evening traffic around the square is what stretches it. The Palmeraie drop is the longer city drive. We still do not publish a guaranteed minute count for either, because a busy arrivals wave and a ring road full of cars move the clock.
Agafay is the stone desert about 40 kilometers southwest of Marrakech, often 45 minutes to an hour from the city, and it is not the Sahara. From Menara it is still a desert transfer, not a medina hop. If Agafay is the first stop, on the way from the airport before the riad, say so. The dunes at Erg Chebbi are not a first stop from RAK. They are a multi-day route, described on the 4-day Marrakech to Fes tour and the 10-day tour. Landing and driving toward Merzouga the same afternoon is not an airport transfer.
Casablanca airport, code CMN, is a different arrival. The road south to Marrakech is on the order of two and a half to three and a half hours before you count traffic. If the ticket says CMN, the car at Menara will not be there. Tell us the code. A CMN pickup is ask for price, and it is a long transfer, not the RAK meet-and-greet this page is about.
Bags, children, and the name on the board
The black car in the photograph is a Mercedes V-Class. It takes a normal family load of suitcases. If you are travelling with golf clubs, a stroller, or more bags than people, say so. A quote that assumes two carry-ons is the wrong car when the belt gives you five large cases. Child seats are not a surprise we can produce in the hall. Ask for them in the same message as the flight number, and we will confirm what is in the car before you land.
Put the lead name on the request exactly as it will be readable on a board. A nickname that is not on the passport makes a tired arrival slower. If two families are meeting and only one is on the stay at the riad, say which guests are in the 1–5 or the 6–8 count. The €50 difference is about the size of the group on the transfer, not about who sits in which bedroom.
The departure uses the same split when it is part of the stay: included for 1–5 guests, +€50 for 6–8. Send the flight time the day before so the Palmeraie pickup leaves enough time for an international check-in. A departure that is not part of the three-night stay is ask for price.

Ask for price. A hotel in the medina, another riad, a departure transfer, or a first stop such as Agafay is quoted from the flight, the address, and the number of guests. We do not publish a taxi-rank fare, and we do not publish a standalone transfer rate.
Is this a shared shuttle?
No. The transfer is a private black car for your party. You are not put in a van that waits for other flights. A petit taxi at the official rank is a different choice. Agree that fare before the bags go in the boot.
How long is the drive from Menara to the Palmeraie or the medina?
The medina is the shorter hop. The Palmeraie, where Riad Bab Atlas stands, is a longer drive from the terminal than the square. Evening traffic changes both. We do not publish a guaranteed minute count. Agafay is about 40 km southwest of the city, so a first stop there is a desert transfer, not a city hop.
Do you meet late flights?
Yes, when the flight number is on the request. Pickup is planned around the landing time, including a night arrival. You do not start the stay by joining the taxi queue.
